Tea in a little basement cafe in Cambridge. Sometime you barely need to create atmosphere to get it. The place doesn't look like much but it was buzzing with chatter.
Not long after tea it was time for dinner. We found another new (to us) place. In Harvard Square there are plenty of places that have been around forever and others that have turned over and over and are new every time. I don't even remember Kennedy's being here when we were in the square a few weeks ago although I'm sure it was. The theme, of course, was the Kennedy clan with lots of old photos of JFK, Bobby, Jackie and the clan.
As if the Kennedy theme wasn't enough….it was also an old bank. They kept the vault door and made a dining alcove out of it. I know there are other bank theme restaurants but it seems like that built-in attribute would have trumped the Kennedy idea for a restaurant name/theme in this location.

Since we got an early start to the night we didn't feel quite done when we got home. So we walked into town for a last drink and found this little jazz band playing Miles Davis classics.
The bartender took these from on top of the bar. It was a slow Saturday night so climbing up on the bar gave her something to do. Cleaning up the water I spilled gave her something else to do.
This is me sending silly texts in the middle of the parking lot. I can't text and walk at the same time. So if you received a text from me on Saturday night this could have been where it was coming from.
