Diane has only been here a few hours but she is already making friends. We had dinner at the George around the corner from our cottage. The waiter talked her into trying Eton Mess for "afters" (I had to explain what that was since it sounded kinky). She also met Paddy - a lovely Irish gentleman who lives across the street from me. He told us all about his son in Michigan and how he loves the Queen. I'm so glad Diane is here to introduce me to my neighbors!!
