Without any special guests or Ann Maria at quiz night this week our picture taking was sadly lacking. Not a lot of shenanigans this week but still a good time.
After last week's giant team of 9, Chris said we really needed to keep the team to foursomes.
This week we were Weak Sauce (Bill, Jen, Jules and eventually John) and Orchestra (Jerry, Mike, Ollie and eventually Cat).
Weak Sauce started very strong in the picture round. Look how happy we are with ourselves!!
Round 1 and we're in the lead!!
John arrived just in time to give us an answer in Round 2 to maintain our lead by one point.
Then we fell down in the Top 5 Round. We were given 5 call letters of small UK airports and we had to guess the city. We only got 1 out of 5. Several teams pulled ahead.
It was about this time that Bill lost interest and started putting on Jules' hat. John said that he looked very American in it. What? Not sure where he is getting his vision of an American...
Bill headed out for a smoke and we headed into the Alphalinks round.
But wait - he came running back in to give us the answer to the first question setting us up nicely for the rest of the alphabet!! Well played, Bill!
