Crank up the Fitbit - Christin is here!

Christin arrived Friday at lunch time and immediately went out for a long walk.  Anyone who thinks I walk a lot  should be Fitbit friends with Christin - you'll never be #1 on your Fitbit board again.

We took her to dinner at the Kendal - our standard first night in the mews destination.

Everything is Paddington here these days (new movie coming out soon).  The woman next to us brought this fellow to the pub.  I have to admit, I've always thought Paddington was pretty cute.

Notice the pictures above Ollie's head - Neil Patrick Harris and Jack Black have been to the pub.  We didn't see any celebrities last night but that was fine.  We wanted to concentrate on Christin and the new from home.  Here are the headlines:

• We have a groper!  The police have yet to find a man who has attacked at least 5 women in town.
• They busted a meth lab!  Helicopters and FBI descend on our small port town.
• No more plastic bags from retailers!  BYO or pay for paper.
• No more popcorn at the movie theater!!  This is the worst news of all. That was my all time favorite popcorn.  The theater doesn't have a sink (I did point out that there is one in the bathroom) so the board of health ended the popcorn production.  I'm sure that not cleaning the machine was the key to the delicious taste - 30 years of salt and peanut oil build up makes for the best popcorn on Earth.  Christin is on assignment to find out where that dirty old machine is when she gets home.
