On Sunday morning we headed to Exeter, NH, to see Wyatte and Malikai in their church's nativity play. The whole family was there to see the show. Trudi was so happy to have her boy back!
The little boys are not as little as they used to be.
Malikai was a shepherd. We caught this picture when he was being normal - he spent much of his stage time making goofy faces at us in the front row.
Wyatte was a wise man who brought the gold to the manger. He took his role very seriously. Then he corrected the way the Frankincense wise man sat down. Apparently they didn't sit "Indian Style" in Bethlehem.
It was a very informal church. Everyone (including the "Leader" as he was called on the projection screen) was wearing flannel shirts and jeans. There was a lot of music with the Leader on guitar, a guy on a bongo (now I know what Bill and Joey both want for Christmas!!), and other rotating instruments the whole time. But the best part was seeing the whole family (except Allie who had to work).
You can look forward to lots more family posts over the next few days….
