There's no place like home for the holidays. Bill and I spent most of Saturday acting on that sentiment. Packing, Heathrow Express, checking in, and - yay! - getting bumped up to first class. Suddenly I wasn't in such a hurry to get home. We enjoyed several pots of tea and a cheese board in the lounge.
Then settled into our little compartments on the plane.
On BA there are little windows so that you can see and talk to your companion in upper class.
Not a bad way to spend seven and half hours. Of course, I was so comfortable I fell asleep while Bill watched 7 episodes of Mad Men. So now I'm up before dawn and he's already on East Coast time.
Either way, it's good to be home.
