It's been about 6 months since we saw our pals Alex and John so Saturday night we had a date with the gents at our favorite restaurant / cigar bar, Boisdale. Alex is a member so we always have a table waiting for us.
We will have to look for places like this in Boston because even I don't mind hanging out there with the smokers. It's technically an outdoor space that they make look like an indoor space with heaters and blankets to keep you warm and cozy.
I also like that we could get up at any point in the night to go up to the cigar bar and they hold your table in the restaurant for you. So when we were done, we just went back downstairs and settled in to listen to the jazz band.
The last time we were here we got up to dance but the bar area was too busy for that. We did try a few acting challenges -- Here's me being mad at Alex.
Alex and I also quickly mastered the table piano.
Good food, music and friends.
