Look who's here! Christine breezed in from Minnesota to hang for a week with us.
It's always great to have Christine's laugh in the house. She has one of those big laughs that makes people around her smile. She's also a good role model for Jen and I. She and our Colorado friend Mike are nice people who do nice things for others.
For a couple of days this will be good for us. After three days we'll be sick of being so nice and go back to our sarcastic lives.
We were able to score a table at the elusive Two Brewers Pub, next to the Long Walk. It's our favorite, but there is never a seat to be had. Christine brings us good luck. Or maybe .... she gets paid back in life for being a good person with things like tables opening up, sun following her around, babies smiling at her ...
Will Jen and I become nicer this week? Or will Christine become snarky? Stay tuned.
(by the way, not in Nancy, France but today will do a dance in my fancy pants)
