Monday was a bank holiday in the UK. We have no idea what it was commemorating. But it was also the warmest day of the year so everyone was out and about. The Brocas behind our house had hundreds of people playing, sunbathing, and picnicking. Christine and I started our day on the Long Walk and then refueled at The George with burgers chips. Sadly I had to start work after lunch (not a bank holiday in the US!) so Christine ventured off to Kew Gardens and Bill broke out the oils.
The next bank holiday is also a holiday in the US (and it's my birthday) so I'm hoping to be able to really enjoy it!
