Our one and only social engagement on this whole trip was dinner last night with Louise (below left) and Marion (below middle). You'll recall that Louise was the woman with the Morgan who took Bill out shopping and on dog walks when he first arrived. She is the landlord's sister and Marion is his wife. So to thank them for taking such good care of Bill we all went out to dinner and then up to the castle to watch the Olympic light show projected on the turrets.
As I type this we are getting a torrential downpour of biblical proportions. Looks like we won't be driving with the top down this afternoon...
