Flew into Melbourne from Sydney and hit some turbulence as we landed. We went through some thick clouds and the plane jumped a bit. Only after we made it through did I realize that we flew through bush fires that have been threatening some homes in the area.
My little friend didn't seem bothered by the bush fires. She kept peeking back at me the whole flight so I'd look away and scare her with my hand trying to grab her. She giggled the whole flight and I had to make up many versions of the same game for the hour and a half flight.
Some sort of professional sports team was at the baggage carousel. I figured it had to be a professional team because they were sponsored by the glamorous KFC. I think it's odd that a generation of people don't know that KFC is Kentucky Fried Chicken. Years ago they changed their name and the youngsters don't know the origin. I bet they don't even know the Colonel.

Kindof weird that KFC is sponsoring a sports team, don't you think? I don't really consider KFC health food (though their mashed potatoes are delish!)
