Fleet Street

On Saturday we decided to wander and found ourselves on Fleet Street.  Take a walk down the street with us...past the George Pub....
...across from The Royal Courts of Justice
...and Twinings - as in the tea people.  Their building was so cute sandwiched in between all the other taller buildings.

This statue was in the middle of the street.  Which was there first, the statue or the street?
It may be fall but the window boxes are still in bloom.
I would have taken a picture of The Old Cock Tavern even if it wasn't named that...
It took us about 20 minutes to walk just a few blocks.  Every other building was something different and interesting to stop and photograph.  It was a good reminder that sometimes the the journey is as good as the destination.
