Ringing in the New Year

 

 New Year's Eve started with dinner at Jerry & Jules' house.  We were all having fun despite the fact that Mike looks like he fell asleep at the table.

 

After dinner we probably did the same thing that most of you did - - we started laying down tracks for Bill's new iphone ringtone.  Bill brought his microphone from home (that's the round metal thing on a stick  in the picture below) and we all picked our parts.  Jerry was on the electric guitar.

 

Jules was on the piano.

 

Bill was wailin' on the harmonica.

Cat kept the beat with the tambourine.

 

Mike played the rice.  I was a little jealous because I wanted the rice.

I was vocals.  We did a blue tune and I was the "uh huh.....alright....bring it home...." in the background.  Look at Mike's skillful rice shaking!  We also recorded Barbara Ann (Beach Boys) and Summer Lovin' (from Grease) with all of us on vocals.  Trust me - you will want to call Bill next time you see him to hear these masterpieces!!
