I had a lovely evening with Denise and Pete. Pete cooked a beautiful risotto that Henry and Ambrose didn't want to eat because it was purple.
Pete plied me with some lovely rye and whiskey. I'll regret the last rye when I get up for work tomorrow. But it was well worth it!
On another note, Kats called me tonight. I apparently had called back Jen at 1:00am to Kats' number. Her family thought there was some family emergency when receiving a late night call from the UK.
Sorry Kats. Sorry George. My bad.

Even when Bill writes a blog post about friends from home, I now find a way to feature on the blog, This is what happens when Jen showers me with so much attention in her posts.... I start to think it's all about ME!!
As you didn't have any recollection ringing us, our theory is that one of your lovely grandsons fiddled with your phone and dialled one of the last numbers on your call register. Possible?
