My Fun Friday was a day off to sit and read in the park but Bill doesn't get the 4th of July off. As soon as he was done we jumped on the train to Brighton and arrived at our mod accommodations. We are in the 70's Zebra Suite which includes breakfast in bed - - due to arrive any minute now.
Last night we headed out for dinner at the pub down the street and a little wander around town.
Our B&B is decorated with 70's album covers and memorabilia all over. I'm appropriately dressed in my funky flowy trousers.
After dinner we headed down to the beach and the iconic Brighton Pier.
The World Cup was playing on the outdoor big screen - Brazil vs Colombia.
We'd already watched the first half at the pub so we grabbed a couple drinks and stood in the mist to watch Brazil win 2-1. The crowd seemed happy with the result.
