On Saturday night we had dinner at Jana's. I was excited to bring together friends and family - we invited fellow Booktopian Priscilla and her husband George as well as Bill's brother Bob and wife Deanna. And of course, we met the adorable Sydney.
Sydney put on a little show for us - rolling over on command to get treats.
Priscilla came in and went right to work whipping up some apps - - buffalos chicken dip, baked brie with fig, focaccia bread….yummmmm
Pretty Deanna was happy to see Joey again. Bob and Deanna were his surrogate parents when he was at UW freshman year.
Everyone got on like a house afire. Bill and George were kindred spirits when it comes to baseball. The food was great. The wine was flowing.
They were happy to see each other….really….
