Farm to Table #2

Are you hungry?
We are on the hay wagon to the Farm to Table dinner #2.
Accompanied by Pete and Denise.
The dinner tent is up ahead.  They take you into the middle of a field surrounded by trees so that you are really on the farm with no view of the city around you.  We even had a discussion about where the streets were in regards to our setting - we were that disoriented.  It was a really beautiful to be out in a field under a big white tent.
Our menu.   There were more courses here than Wednesday's  farm to table dinner but the taste sensations on Wednesday were tough to beat.  And at this event they served you beer and cider with the meal - better economically perhaps but Bill didn't really like the cider and they only poured little shot sized portions so we were constantly trying to schmooze for booze.  I would prefer to just pay for my alcohol and get my fair share!
On Friday we were at long tables rather than rounds. The group of women next to us were very nice - one ran a farm nearby so we asked her a lot of questions about farming.  (Jana and Chris - I should have asked about Herbal Lay!!!  ha ha - - this is an Archers joke so the other 5 blog readers can ignore it.)

Another added bonus to the setting was the Blue Moon. The full moon looked amazing over the field.  My iPhone could not do it justice.
We need lights for our patio at home - they just make everything look magical.
Melted candles are also a sign of a well spent night.
They were offering the tractor rides back to the car but we decided to leg it, traipsing through the field with our cider donut good bags. A beautiful and fun night - again! - at a Farm to Table.  We should be doing these EVERY week!!!  ;-)
