It was a long work week for both of us. We actually feel like we earned the right to live on the mews this week. We deserved a night out. We headed out for our favourite charcuterie place, Fernandez and Wells. The air b-and-bers in Robert's place were out having a drink and a tune.
Jennie had her hip rain slicker on. Good call, it rained.
Jen hated this picture, but I like it. I like pictures of Jennie that are not her usually smiley pose. It's a great pose, but mix it up.
We're blurry.
Umbrellas are out in London.
OK, it's a cute pose.
We ended the night at our local. We sang Billy Joel songs with Ellen, our bartender friend. Then we had a long chat with a British military man who spent some time in Leavenworth in Kansas (as a soldier, not a prisoner). We also meet the owner of the dog, Nero, that shows up to quiz night - Malcolm.
We love all the iconic things in London but it's definitely the details of "normal" life here that we'll miss the most next year.
