Look! Back in East London again.
I think we have a half dozen different days where we took a photo of the Gherkin.
The building, designed by Lord Foster, is only ten years old and has already fallen under receivership. You can pick it up cheap for £640m.
Lord Foster, by the way, designed the Milleau Viaduct in Southern France. It is the tallest bridge in the world. A little fact that will have no positive benefit for you, I'm sure.
We can't swing past Spitalfields without stopping at the market for a few bits and bobs. Jen bought bits, I bought bobs.
Jen wearing one of her new bits.
After bits and bobs it was off for Mexican. Jen has had a hankering for Mexican food for weeks.
A Jen photo shoot was launched in Bojo Mexicana.
I enjoyed a delicious Zombie (three different rums and several fruits made for a delicious summer drink). Jen has a pedestrian Corona. Weak sauce.
You also can't walk through Spitalfields without hearing live music.
Then we strolled to the felt gallery from yesterdays blog, followed by a trip to the flower market.
End of day specials.
Well done, Lord Foster. Well done.

Why is it called the Gherkin? Looks more like a bullet to me (though I guess they can't really name a building the bullet.)
