Bill and I had the honor of attending the Red Sox vs Oakland game Monday night with Whitney Connaughton and Aaron Pressman. After a bit of a struggle getting Bill's car parked, we settled in for the game, a couple of Fenway Franks, and a long overdue chat. The Sox were knocking it out of the park until the top of the 7th when Oakland threatened to rebound. Good guys prevailed!
Festival attendee Bill Lee was also at the game - watching from the owner's box and waving to fans during a big screen montage of his glory days. I'm sure he was thinking about his good time in Newburyport rather than watching the game.
