Don't Poo Poo the Basin

Christin is house sitting this weekend on the basin side of Plum Island so we took our Friday power walk on the road.  (For non-Port residents - the basin is the marsh side of Plum Island, not the ocean side.)  We would have taken it on the beach but the beaches were officially closed due to high bacteria levels after hurricane Irene (read all about it here: http://www.newburyportnews.com/local/x803540660/Port-beaches-remain-closed) 

Laura surprised us with a visit while we were basking in the sun on those 2 lounge chairs.  She was a basin convert stating that she would never "poo poo the basin" again. Talk about a straight man!
