The Dawn of a New Day

Look out New York - Here comes Dawn!!
She arrived Monday morning to join us for the second half of our big city adventure.
We ran out to meet her on the sidewalk and pose for the paparazzi.
Then we hit the streets.
First stop - lunch at a Jewish Deli in the garment district.
Our waiter was an old guy with old jokes.  But it was very impressive how he knew something - in detail - about where each of us lived.  We ordered up a round of matzoh ball soup and corned beef sandwiches.
And of course, everybody loves a pickle!
Next stop, shopping at the Holiday Market in Bryant Square.  You know I love a good market.  Poor Chris ran out of patience part way through but Jana and Dawn persevered until the end - including a marathon necklace try-on that ended without a purchase.  2 demerits on my lifetime shopping scoreboard.
I'm kicking myself for not buying one of these onesies for Joey.
Ahhh….the glow of sunset on the New York skyline.
We couldn't possibly go all day without a book shop - hello Strand, goodbye two hours of our lives.
Miles found himself the purr-fect pouch.
Here's to another fun day in the city with the Fabbies!
