The day after Halloween makes me sad. It's not because I'm sad the holiday is over. Leading up to Halloween, the neighborhood being decorated with wilting jack-o-lanterns, fake spiderwebs and glow in the dark mummies is tolerable. It's not my thing, but I can understand the spirit of it.
But the day after, these decorations seem an embarrassment to me.
