If it ain't food, it's weather
Bill always warns me that we have the potential to write too frequently about food. What we just ate, what we wish we were eating, what we can't wait to eat. I like food.
But the real danger is that I could write every day about weather. Today's typhoon is just begging to be blogged about. Wind gust of 60+ mph mean that we should take the chairs in but instead Bill just turned 3 of the 4 chairs upside down. Is chair #4 a test?
Below is the basement taking on water like the Poseidon Adventure. Any minute now Shelly Winters is going to swim out of a puddle. There's got to be a morning after....

Could be worse. I can imagine a leaky chimney that takes on water as the rain and wind increase, creating a steady but totally irregular and echoing noise right in your bedroom all night long kind of like a chinese water torture machine. Oh wait, I don't have to imagine - it's happening right in our bedroom. Blech!
Ours too!!! We went to bed with the ringing sound of rain drops plopping into a dutch oven.
