Well, you know I lived in NYC for about 10 years and these parking stacks are very convenient. It's really no problem getting out as long as you hit the gas really hard -- not great on the shock absorbers when you hit the pavement from 20 feet up, but you get used to the bumpy ride and it's not like any of the city's streets are all that smooth anyway. But it's getting back up to your space that's a real pain. If you have a block and tackle, sure, easy. But if you forgot it in the Hamptons or someplace, well, forget it. I once spent an entire night heaving and hoeing to get the car back in the space. Finally did but the bumper came off in my hands. And I was thankful...
