Monday in Edinburgh

Bill in Edinburgh cemetery.

Jen and Andrea buying Scottish books. Or American books with a Scottish cover. Or just books....

Like this doorway. Amazing architecture in Edinburgh.

Are we really married?

Ten years ago Jen and I took wedding photos in this cemetery. The registry where we got married is no longer there, though.
We've long ago made the assumption that our wedding in Edinburgh was legal. The fact that the registry is no longer there doesn't give us satisfaction that our marriage wasn't a sham.

We are Hooligans!!

These are the Celtic fans - they were rowdy and fun and sang songs thru the whole game...unfortunately we were there as Hearts fans. It was a Celtics win (2-1) but Bill won a bet on the first goal scored. Pints on him after the game!

The First Wednesday of the Month Club

Stacey, Di and I have agreed to go out on the first Wednesday of every month. So far we made it one month....here is the proof. We all had salmon and we talked about how Stacey and I are better liars than Diane.

it's an ableman day!!!

We had a terrific thunder and lightening storm (which started during my power walk!) followed by a rainbow over our street.

Vacation Coiffure

Look out Scotland...here come Jennie and her new do! (which isn't actually a "new do" but I can never blow it dry the way the woman at the salon does it)

Babysitting

Poor Malikai was not a happy boy today...Jen K. insists it's the new teeth but he basically cried from the moment he laid eyes on Bill until Jen came back a few hours later. Brief respites included when Bill got him to bounce and wiggle at the Inn Street playground and when he cried himself to sleep on Jen E's shoulder. Other than that it was all tears and misery for little Malikai. His brother, on the other hand was enthralled with rockets, balloons, and bubbles all afternoon.

comment from Bill (Malikai loved his banana gelato and loved when Wyatte made the cherry tree blossoms snow down on him... but he definitely loves his mom ... and i definitely terrified him at first)

Jentucky Derby Party

No, it's not a new Gold Dust Orphans drag show, it's Jen and the hens having a Kentucky Derby Party at Amy's.
